This shade grown coffee comes from the Tarrazu region where exceptional coffee is grown. El Conquistador is purchased and collected from area smallholder farms in the rugged terrain of this part of Costa Rica. The cup characteristics include a lively winey flavor which is balance with bittersweet chocolate and tropical fruit.
